Khmisa and Kawtar, two Moroccan women, Chefs, food lovers and passionate about cooking and involving people in Moroccan Culture from local side. They will welcome you in Marrakech for a meal at Khmisa’s workshop , a Riad in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech in the pure Moroccan cuisine tradition and in a family and warm atmosphere. Specialised in Morrocan cuisine and pastry, has worked for several renowned hotel establishments in Morocco and abroad and for different morocc Restaurants anf Catering services They will assist you during your cooking class and help you to understand more the Moroccan Culinary First and after discussing your food allergies and restrictions, we will go with to the Food Local Market ( Souk) , away from the touristic side of Marrakech. A short walk through the souk to buy the fresh groceries in the middle the market stalls filled with spices and local traditions. Once arriving home, you will be welcomed with a traditional mint tea and you will learn all the steps of the ritual making before starting the cooking session The menu will be composed of the most typical Moroccan dishs, including starters + main course + one desert We will start the preparation of the dishes as team work involving everyone in and understanding the secrets of the Moroccan cuisine and spices It’s a shared session and we do offer private session on demand only You can come individually or with a group After the cooking, you will have time to taste the fruit of everything we made for delicious meal
